The cabin offers mountain and ocean views from both the kitchen (kitchenette in Tui) and bedroom, plus a spacious deck to enjoy the scenery. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen in Ruru and kitchenette in Tui, a Weber BBQ at both, and all the basics like tea, coffee, and milk. Inside, you’ll find a cosy lounge with a 32-inch TV in Tui and 50-inch TV in Ruru, Netflix, Disney+, and a comfy couch in each. Perfect for a peaceful getaway with everything you need close by.

  • Our cabins are packed with everything you need for a great stay. You’ll enjoy stunning views from your private balcony, relaxing outdoor baths, and a kitchenette in Tui and full kitchen in Ruru, with a fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle. We also provide basics like milk, tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt, and pepper. Plus, there’s a comfy lounge area with a 32-inch TV in Tui and a 50-inch TV in Ruru, Netflix, Disney+, and comfy couches to watch from in both

  • The cabin is just a short 700m walk to the start of the Pouakai walking track and only a 15-minute drive to New Plymouth’s beaches, restaurants, shops, and the coastal walkway. Lake Mangamahoe Mountain Bike Park and other city highlights are also within easy reach.

  • Check-in is typically from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you need different times, just let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • If you cancel more than 14 days before your arrival, you’ll get a full refund. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Unfortunately, no refunds are given for cancellations within 7 days of arrival or for no-shows. We recommend travel insurance for added peace of mind.

  • Sorry, we don’t allow pets in the cabin. We want to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for all our guests.

  • The cabins include a range of amenities like free Wi-Fi, a gas BBQ, outdoor furniture, books, magazines, and a garden. You’ll also find laundry onsite, luggage storage, and on-site parking.

  • Yes, the cabin is great for families or small groups. It has a fold-out couch in the lounge area for extra guests and plenty of space to relax and enjoy.

  • The cabin is a non-smoking property. We ask all guests to respect this policy to keep the space fresh and pleasant for everyone.

  • The cabins are equipped with a 32-inch Smart TV in Tui & 50-inch Smart TV in Ruru, and access to Netflix and Disney+. You can relax and enjoy your favourite shows or movies during your stay.

  • Yes, we do offer the option to host intimate weddings at Mangorei Heights. With our stunning views and beautiful setting, it’s a perfect spot for a memorable celebration. Contact us for more details and to discuss how we can make your special day extraordinary.
